WebJan 13, 2004 · I need something like an "endswith" (opposite of "startswith") to parse out list names with a "z" or "Z" at the end, hopefully under Record Selection. My lists (for example) Ln11p ln11p (yes lower case "L" on this one) Lq11z lq11Z x111w4 s223zq I want to be able to pull the lists ends with with "z" or "Z". WebAnswer: Create a formula that groups the funds together: if {Fund Field} startswith "EDU" then "EDU" else if {Fund Field} startswith "PROD" then "PROD". Create a new parameter field. Use the type String. Enter the default values: EDU, PROD, etc. Click OK. Go to Report > Selection Formulas > Record. Enter a formula similar to the following:
