Since I have a gamepad connected into my computer, Darksiders 2 auto detected it, and let me use my gamepad instead of the keyboard/mouse. While using the gamepad, it felt really weird. Try this: start the game and unplug your mouse,keyboard and gamepad then just plug in your gamepad and it should work, at least with a Xbox 360 controller. WebIt reads like you play with a controller, but then you should have a different button prompt (right trigger) to throw stuff so I assume you play with mouse and keyboard? Anyway, when you have a controller connected and enabled you can't use the mouse ingame, it just doesn't work until you disconnect or disable the controller.
