I recommend Golden’s “So Flat” (if you don’t mind mixing your own colors) or Hataka Blue if you dislike mixing your own. WebI recently got Hataka Acrylic paints (Red line series) and I tired to thin them with Mr Hobby's Colour Levelling Thinner (which I use for most of my paints). I thinned it 50/50 paint to thinner (which is what I normally do) but the Hataka paints got very thick really quickly. I tried thinning them with a much higher ratio of thinner to paint ... WebMar 8, 2015 · These were painted on a primed strip of plasticard. The brush painted samples were given one even coat. Both the Vallejo and Tamiya were thinned a little to aid flow but the Hataka is strait from the pot. The sprayed samples were all thinned roughly 50/50 with Ultimate thinner and given a single even coat.
